Dear Parents and Students, Hello, and welcome to a new school year here at Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School. My name is Cherie Rike and I will be your child's teacher and/or case manager for the 2011-2012 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the role I will be playing in your child's education at TVEMS.
It is important to your child's success for there to be an open line of communication between you and the school. I will keep you informed of your child's academic progress throughout the school year. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything going on in your child's life outside of school that may impact his/her success.
Please encourage your child to use his/her assignment book to record assignments. This is an efficient way for him/her to remember homework and will also provide you with the opportunity to monitor your child's work.
